“I Hope People Enjoy It”: Seth Rollins Nervous, Excited, and Positive About His Mystery Role in Captain America 4

Many WWE stars have transitioned their way to the big screens of Hollywood. While for some, the characters they play have come into the limelight, the same is not the case with Seth Rollins. While the 38-year-old star has worked in many movies like Sharknado 4 and Like a Boss, his Hollywood big break could happen in the near future. Cast in an ‘undisclosed’ role, in the upcoming Captain America installment, Captain America: Brave New World, Rollins aims to make a splash.

Even though he still has kept his part under wraps, The Visionary recently talked about his experience and his expectations from the character he portrayed.

Seth Rollins is “hopeful” about his character

At the latest episode of Mythical Kitchen, Rollins appeared as a guest and talked about his upcoming movie that comes from the Marvel Studios. The WWE star disclosed the traits of his character. He also chuckled and refused to reveal any specific information about it. However, he did reveal his concern on how the audiences react to his portrayal of the character. Rollins said, “ Hopefully, everyone doesn’t hate me, I don’t want to have ruined everybody’s vision of this character, so I’m doing my best. I hope people enjoy it.” The reason behind the current World Heavyweight Champion’s nervousness emerges from the fact that he opted to step out of his comfort zone.

Rollins said that for most of his life, he has just wrestled. Apart from that, he has either worked in car washes or in restaurants. Acting is a different domain that resulted in his justifiable nervousness. However, even though he was nervous, he admitted that he felt he was in excellent hands. “It was a really good experience and I think it’s going to be pretty cool. I think our audience is going to love it. I think their audience is going to love it, so it was a cool crossover to be able to jump into some totally different skin and try a new thing out for me,” he said.

Seth Rollins clearly exhibits his nervousness ahead of his first movie with Marvel Studios. Rollins showing concern about ruining the character could mean only one thing. The Architect might be playing a very popular character.

Although no confirmation has emerged, speculation suggests that Rollins might be portraying the character of Klaus Voorhees. The character biography proves an exciting prospect for wrestling fans. Rollins might be playing the role of a criminal who was then ordered to assist a professor working on developing snake-venom immunity and was accidentally bitten by a mutated cobra. Following the bite, he gained new superpowers which made him a master contortionist. Along with that he expean increase in his durability, strength, and endurance. He uses these powers to carry out criminal activities before becoming the leader of the Serpent Society as King Cobra.

Seth Rollins has depicted a similar skill set in the ring as that of the comic book character. He might not be a master contortionist, but we know him for his other tricks. Rollins displays immense agility in the ring along with strength and endurance. The WWE star will be seen sharing the screen with other Hollywood actors. The prominent names include Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Harrison Ford, and many more. The movie is slated for a 2024 release, but the dates might be affected due to the ongoing Hollywood Strikes.

For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
