WWE superstar Bayley is on a hot streak at the moment. Ever since she returned with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, she has been one of the most ruthless heels on the roster. Her feuds with Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch are one of the most memorable ones since her return.

Last year, she suffered an injury and had to be sidelined. Prior to her injury, Bayley and Sasha Banks were two of the greatest heels on the roster and carried the female division during the pandemic era with zero crowds.

However, earlier last year, Banks walked out of WWE after problems backstage and ultimately severed her ties with the promotion. Earlier this year in January, she made her way to Japan and inked a deal with NJPW, where she is in a feud with KAIRI.

Bayley, during a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, addressed her current WWE run, and her friendship with Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks The leader of Damage CTRL spoke about her friendship with Mone, and how much she wants her back in WWE. Both of them shared a natural chemistry, and were a part of the four horsewomen of WWE, alongside Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.

What did Bayley address about her friendship with Mercedes Mone?

Being an on-screen heel character, we often witness Bayley stay in character. However, during her interview with Helwani, she broke her character and spoke about her friendship with Mone. She stated how much she hopes for her to get back.

She said, “I will never give up hope. I will never give up hope that she will come back. I’ll say yes because this is her home. This is her dream.” She further claimed, “But I know this is her home and where her heart is. And by her heart, I mean me. So she needs to come back to me. I need her.”

The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion also claimed how she hoped the best for her friend and wants her to take over the world. Both Mone and Bayley share a close friendship, and it was wholesome witnessing Bayley breaking kayfabe and getting emotional for her friend.

What has WWE planned for Bayley at WrestleMania 39?

Bayley is amidst a feud with Becky Lynch and Lita. However, as of now, there is no feud scheduled for the WWE star on her road to WrestleMania. The leader of Damage CTRL has not competed at WrestleMania for the past few years and hopes to break the streak this year.
