From having memorable cage matches to winning 6-man ladder matches, Adam Cole, shined brightly during the heyday of NXT. After Cole left NXT, people thought he would have a striking career in AEW. But all of that stopped when Cole suffered an injury after his big match at last year’s AEW Double or Nothing.

But at last, after 10 months, Cole has been medically cleared to return to the ring. To celebrate the occasion and put a cheery on top of everything, Britt Baker, his real-life girlfriend, came out to the ring to show her support to close AEW Dynamite.

For the past few weeks, Adam Cole had backstage segments where he talked about the AEW All Access show with Baker. But during them, Daniel Garcia from JAS challenged the former NXT Champion. So, 10 months after his glorious win at the Owen Hart Tournament, Cole returned to the ring to beat Garcia.

To celebrate this victory, Britt Baker came out to the ring and hugged Cole in the middle of the ring. This went along great with the AEW All Access episode featuring both of them and a deeper look into their personal lives.

Both Cole and Baker are phenomenal wrestlers in their own right. Baker has been a major stand-out from AEW’s women’s division. In just over 4 years, she has won the big title and had amazing matches with the likes of Thunder Rosa and Saraya.

On the other hand, Cole was one of the pillars of NXT. His performance in the Owen Hart Tournament was exceptional and many fans are hoping to see him win the big gold this year as well. Even when he was in NXT, Cole made sure to send heartwarming messages to Baker.
