The Usos were looking unstoppable with their 622-day reign, but the real-life friend duo usurped the brothers. And not only fans but fellow wrestlers were proud of their massive achievement.

There could not have been a perfect way to add another chapter to The Bloodline saga than the events of Mania. And Becky Lynch recently revealed that she was among the many who were rooting for Zayn and Owens.

She took to Instagram to pen a heartfelt note to the new tag champions. Lynch posted, “17 years ago, I met Kevin and Sami on a poorly organized wrestling tour in Italy. After a week I knew we would be friends for life, but they’re like brothers to me now. I’m not too proud to admit I cried like a baby watching them win the main event of WrestleMania last Saturday. They deserve all the success in the world.”

The post was also accompanied by a series of images featuring the three with ‘The Man’ teary-eyed in the backstage area after the monumental win for the Canadian duo. It has to be among the topmost feel-good moments for the WWE Universe in recent times. The Prizefighter and El Generico even honored their previous promotion Pro Wrestling Guerilla after their win. Lynch’s emotions after the main event clash summed up the emotions of many fans.

Lynch displayed happiness while speaking to ESPN after the match. She highlighted the close bond she shared with both Zayn and Owens for a very long time.

The former women’s champion said, “If you saw me afterwards, I was a blubbering mess. I have known those guys since I was 19 years old”.

Having been through thick and thin of the industry would have naturally brought the trio much closer. And the fact that Lynch was ecstatic for Zayn and Owens highlights the equation shared by them.
