The Undertaker performed for the company for 30 years before establishing a lasting legacy and being honored with a Hall of Fame induction. The WWE fandom has been thankful for The Deadman’s contribution in a number of legendary matches over that time. Bruce Prichard, a veteran of the WWE, did once apologize to Taker for pairing him with a former WWE star in a particularly bad match.

It is extremely uncommon to hear that Taker had a bad match. But in 2005, Taker and Heidenreich competed in a Casket match at the Royal Rumble. Prichard expressed regret to the WWE Hall of Famer in relation to that match on the ‘Something to Wrestle’ podcast.

He stated, “I’m sorry man. I gotta take exception [to The Undertaker and Heidenreich house show matches being referred to as “really bad”]. That’s an example of being completely wrong.”

“Those matches stunk to high heaven. They weren’t really bad, they were awful. … They were — I mean if you saw that, it would take you weeks to get that stink out of your clothes. I would publicly like to say to The Undertaker, I’m sorry.[H/T: Post Wrestling]”

Around 2004–2005, The Phenom and Heidenreich got into a brief brawl. After his conflict with Taker, the major goal was to turn Heidenreich into a huge star. However, as per Prichard, the bout between Heidenreich and Taker was awful, and he apologized to Taker. Heidenreich’s career, meanwhile, was short.

Heidenreich left the famous wrestling promotion in 2006. He hasn’t come back since. During his feud, he was set to be in a brawl with Taker at WrestleMania.

The Undertaker was to face Heidenreich at WrestleMania 21

On February 6 back then, a live event wherein Undertaker and Kane prevailed signified the conclusion of the four figures’ feud. The plans for this tag team battle were eventually scrapped by WWE. Thus, later The Undertaker had a match against Randy Orton.
