Is Roman Reigns in His Cousin Dwayne Johnson’s Upcoming Film Black Adam?

Dwayne Johnson is gearing up for his big action superhero movie, ‘Black Adam’. But even after all the marketing for the movie, he has been hiding the big surprises from the public. But after a leak exposed Henry Cavill’s involvement in the movie, fans think another person could make an appearance in the movie. This person is none other than Dwayne Johnson’s cousin and the current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

Fans have seen that when it comes to Hollywood, Reigns has already made a big impact on the audience. He made headlines when he appeared in Johnson and Jason Statham’s Fast and Furious spin-off, ‘Hobbs and Shaw’. But this time, if he makes an appearance in ‘Black Adam’, it would be massive, as ‘Black Adam’ is a movie that is going to be a mainstream conversation for a long time.

What might Roman Reigns play in Black Adam alongside Dwayne Johnson?

Well, before talking about which character Reigns could be in the movie or his part in the wider DCEU, one might question why he could make an appearance. The first of them is that Reigns has become a champion who usually is selective to WWE shows. He even skipped ‘Money in the Bank’ and ‘Extreme Rules’. So, it could be that Reigns was busy with the shooting of this film and reshoots.

Another reason is that WWE wants to make WrestleMania 39, the one happening in Hollywood, their biggest event in years. For this, if Reigns is in the mainstream, it would boost ticket sales among movie fanatics and the mainstream audience.

So, now comes the question of who Reigns could play in the movie.

The most obvious answer would be a member of the JSA, Justice Society of America. As Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone are going to be a big part of the movie, it only makes sense that fans will see many more members of the JSA. There are two major options for popular characters which Reigns could fit in perfectly.

First is a fan favorite, Martian Manhunter, the last member of the original JSA and JLA, who is yet to be seen in the movies. The other one is a Superman-Esque superhero, Captain Atom. However, fans will have to wait and watch if he actually is a part of ‘Black Adam’.
