He’s back! Elias made his return to WWE on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. He smashed Jeff Hardy across the back with his guitar, allowing AJ Styles to pick up the victory in a Triple Threat match also featuring Seth Rollins.

WWE’s ‘Drifter’ was absent from TV screens since May. He suffered a torn pectoral muscle that was supposed to put him out of action for 6-9 months. However, he made his return a month early and in a truly (guitar) smashing form.

Elias promises a ‘Concert for the Ages’

Elias has promised another one of his supremely entertaining concerts on the upcoming episode of Raw. Whether he will explain his reasons for attacking Hardy is unclear, but fans should be excited to see him back in the ring.

Back in May, the Drifter was taken out of action via a car accident. Jeff Hardy was behind the wheel; although Hardy’s rival at the time, Sheamus, had a hand in the trouble. The car crash was a kayfabe cover for Elias to take time off and heal the injury in his arm.

After costing Jeff Hardy the Triple Threat match, he was stopped backstage by Kayla Braxton. She implored him to provide an explanation for the attack. Elias said, “Everyone has forgiven Jeff Hardy, but not me! He hit me with his car and took me out of action.”

Kayla retorted saying the suspect is still out there, but he rubbished her claims and promised an unforgettable concert.

Will we see a match with Jeff Hardy soon?

It is pretty clear that Elias’ first rivalry after returning will be against Jeff Hardy. It is likely that the Drifter disses the ‘Enigmatic Enigma’ during his concert, drawing the ire of Hardy.

A match on Raw would be a good idea, but with Hell in a Cell on the horizon, it would be the perfect place for him to make his in-ring return. Moreover, a match against Hardy would surely bring the best out of Elias.

Elias’ new album, his magnum opus, is coming out on October 26. Album or no album, fans have waited to see him back in action. The day has finally come, and now let us all ‘Walk with Elias’.
