Matt Riddle wants to wrestle Goldberg in AEW

During a recent live stream of Signed by Superstar, Matt Riddle stated that he would love to have a match with Goldberg. He said, “I personally would love to work with William. I think William Goldberg will be a great match. I think I could get something out of him that people haven’t seen in years and it’d be great for business.”

He also stated that out of all other promotions, wrestling Goldberg seems very likely to happen in AEW. “There are a couple of places we could do that. I would imagine maybe in AEW, maybe in TNA, maybe in New Japan. But if it’s going to happen, it would probably be AEW.”

Riddle even slammed Goldberg for his poor performance against The Undertaker at the Super ShowDown event in June 2019 in Saudi Arabia. When the two eventually met backstage at SummerSlam 2019, Goldberg didn’t take it nicely when he called him his “bro.”
