Jeff Hardy was held responsible for the crash, as he was found nearby, in an inebriated state. Hardy took to the ring on Smackdown and addressed the crash, and his sobriety. He also alleged that Sheamus had set up the crash, to attack Jeff Hardy’s character.

Out of the witnesses that showed up that they interviewed, they said they saw a person get out of my car, flee the scene…They said the person had red hair, and a red beard. Right? I was furious man

Hardy was clearly holding Sheamus responsible, seeing as to how he already had a feud brewing with the Celtic Warrior. Jeff didn’t seem apologetic about the crash, but rather, was furious at how he was framed.
