Former WWE superstar and current Hollywood star John Cena is on a roll right now. With several big projects in his bag and a few more to come, Cena is on his way to becoming the next big thing in Hollywood. However, around six years ago, Cena showcased his close relationship with Vince McMahon.

Around six years ago, during a rumored biopic news about Vince McMahon, John Cena would claim that the two-time Grammy award-winning actor would make a “cute” Vince McMahon, a statement only personas close to him could make.

In a video by TMZ from 2017, John Cena would be approached by journalists on the street while he was walking with Nikki Bella. They would bombard him with questions regarding Vince McMahon’s rumored biopic, and Bradley Cooper possibly playing it.

When the journalist asked, if Cooper would be too cute to play the role, Cena would take fun it in a fun stride as well. He would claim, “McMahon is a cute guy.” Cena would finish off his statement with a cheeky wink, to show how he was having a fun moment with the journalists.

Unfortunately, the six-year-old project never came to see the light. Rumored to be named, ‘Pandemonium’ the production would be stopped after Vince McMahon demanded its cancellation. Silver Linings Playbook fame Bradley Cooper was rumored to play the lead role. However, fans were never able to witness Cooper doing McMahon’s power walk with ‘No Chance’ playing in the background.

The film got into development hell and then. eventually dismantled. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra were going to helm the movie. The co-directors confirmed that Vince McMahon made sure the project never hit the big screen. It was being made with permission from the entities and was being produced by WWE Studios. However, after they demanded its cancellation all production ceased.

However, a new series in the making at Netflix recently announced a documentary on Vince McMahon.

Is Netflix producing a documentary on Vince McMahon?

Senior wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer confirmed the status of a documentary by Netflix on Vince McMahon. The film has been in development for a long amount of time now. However, Meltzer confirmed that the documentary is still happening. A prior documentary on McMahon was released by Vice, but it received several negative reviews.

Another film on Hulk Hogan was also in the talks with Chris Hemsworth possibly playing the lead role. However, recently there has been no update on the film, and fans wonder if the film would release or not.
