WWE has always maintained a strict policy for its superstars and their attachment to the Adult Industry. Former WWE Champion Chyna, X-Pac, and Sunny have been involved with the industry in the past and WWE took strict action against them for their involvement.

The most recent incident included that of former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and Lacey Evans, who started an OnlyFans account. Now, John Cena‘s name has also entered the conversation. However, the involvement, if it can be proved, does not go against WWE’s policy. However, he might not escape the trolls from the wrestling fans.

John Cena is trolled by fans after he follows NSFW account

A Wrestling fan, who also follows WWE Superstar John Cena, tweeted something interesting related to the 16-time World Champion on X on September 14. The tweet came from @DarkLightFury21 with the caption, “@JohnCena nooo what you doing bro 😭😭.” A screenshot was attached to the tweet that shows John Cena following an NSFW account on X.

The fan reaction is in response to Cena’s Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect gimmick. It was difficult for fans to accept this side of Cena where he seems to be publicly showing interest in someone who works in the adult industry.

The account belonged to an Online Adult Content Creator who goes by the name of Polly Trufanova. She is one among the 645K accounts Cena follows on X. She is not a big name in the Industry yet, as she has only 45K followers on X. 

Interestingly, the content creator does not follow John Cena’s official account on X. It does not show up among the 249 accounts she follows on X. Her Linktree link provided links to her OnlyFans account, where she goes by the ID, @PollyPocket.

On X, Cena follows a lot of celebrities from the pro-wrestling industry, sports, Hollywood, and entertainment. However, seeing Polina’s name on the list was surprising as she is not a big name even in the Industry she works in. This makes us wonder whether all of this is a simple mistake or misunderstanding.

John Cena’s act: Blatant mistake or willful act?

It is to be noted that Cena has not infringed any guidelines of WWE by following Polina. The policy is only applicable to active wrestlers under a contract and does not restrict their involvement in consuming adult content. This is why Mandy Rose and Lacey Evans have continued their work on the OnlyFans platform.

However, John Cena’s following Polina is indeed a controversial matter as he has been married to Shay Shariatzadeh since 2020. Cena is not known for much activity on Instagram, but he is quite active on X. It is difficult to know if Cena decided to follow the account consciously or whether it was an accident, as he follows over half a million accounts on X. Till now, neither Cena nor his wife has not commented on this.
