John Cena Once Demanded Harsher Punishment for Alex Rodriguez Which Made His MLB Suspension Look Merciful

WWE Legend John Cena is now enjoying the epitome of success in his career in Hollywood. After beginning as a competitive bodybuilder, Cena found his way into the land of pro wrestling. After bursting into the scene with WWE, he soon began to grow.

Cena rose to stardom because of his physique and exceptional mic skills. He quickly became one of the top stars in the company, and gradually over the years, acquired legendary status. However, he would leave WWE as a full-timer, and focus more on his Hollywood ventures.

The 45-year-old has one of the most impressive figures in the industry. Cena has even stated himself to be clean and free from any kind of substance. In 2019, when MLB player Alex Rodriguez admitted to using steroids, Cena was disgusted by it.

John Cena had expressed his views on the usage of steroids and presented his opinion on what should happen to the users. Cena said, “What happened with Alex Rodriguez and the steroids revelations sickened him. He thinks if everyone really wants to get serious about cleaning up the game, “they should send the guys to jail.”

The Leader of Cenation was extremely strict when it came to steroid usage, and saw no sympathy for the users, and wanted them locked up. Further, he also claimed that he was proud of his physique and how he had achieved it without any steroids.

The 16-time World Champion has one of the most impressive physiques in the industry, and he achieved it with hard work and determination. Cena follows an extreme diet and workout routine, which allows him to look this shredded.

Cena eats seven meals a day, which mostly consist of protein and fats. He starts his day with oatmeal with apple sauce and egg whites. And then eats chicken and rice for lunch, while pasta and chicken or fish for dinner. His ideal workout routine also is split into five days, where each day is dedicated to training an isolated muscle group.

  • Day 1 – Legs and Calves
  • Day 2 – Chest
  • Day 3 – Arms
  • Day 4 – Shoulders
  • Day 5 – Back

He also performs abs exercises every day. However, he has admitted to lifting lighter weights than what he used to lift when younger. John Cena is a true inspiration for many, and it is due to the hard work that he was able to reach this level of success.
