It won’t be an exaggeration to call John Cena draws the biggest reactions from the crowd. Fans get thrilled to bits every time the 16-time world champion steps into the ring. But at the same time, he gets booed too. It’s kind of a half-and-half reaction that the face of the WWE mostly garners in his career. However, there are some prodigious moments that exist in history that saw Cena engulfed by only praise from the crowd.

Although the Fast X hero is currently on the verge of the end of his illustrious in-ring journey, there is nothing wrong with jogging the memory of his good old days.

Cena, 46, has been a part-timer for the last couple of years due to his strenuous Hollywood endeavors. Since the past three years, his in-ring appearances have been massively limited. The Leader of Cenation has gone on hiatus following WrestleMania 36 before launching a mega return at Money In The Bank 2017. The champ was excited to resume his wrestling savvy as always but didn’t expect to get any over-the-top reactions at all. But when he entered the arena to a rapturous pop from the live WWE audience, it recorded an emotional overflowing moment for the 6 ft 1-inch star.

It came as a pure bombshell for Cena, who tried to recapitulate the moment one year later and reasoned for the unexpected reception. Speaking on The Rich Eisen Show, the peacemaker star noted, ”‘I’m not used to that. Usually, in the arenas, half of the people, or more, are telling me that I suck and half of the people are saying, ‘Let’s go Cena.’ So I was kind of expecting that.”

The 40-year-old had a decent run in NXT, but his main roster tenure has been downright enthralling. He made a huge loyal fan base who cheers for him in every arena. But his skyrocketing popularity attained new heights after John Cena acknowledged him through his recent Instagram post.

In between tons of funny memes the former WWE champion uses his Instagram handle to respect and encourage the spirit of the game by uplifting the current-era superstars. Ahead of the big day for Knight, Cena posted a photo of him as a sign of honing his years of hard work and dedication.

Getting a stamp of approval from arguably the face of the company in its heyday will work as a confidence booster for Knight. He will derive confidence for his upcoming MITB fight and beyond.
