“Just Shut Up…”: Fans Shut Down Controversial Ex-WWE Official for Sexist Remarks Against WWE Superstar Valhalla
Valhalla doesn’t appear on the main roster enough to often get criticized by critics. However, a former WWE employee was recently reminded of the gimmick that Valhalla plays in the promotion. Vince Russo then couldn’t hold himself back from targeting the female wrestling talent on X. As a result, when the fire spread, fans started defending Valhalla.
Despite her absence from the roster, Valhalla was still targeted on the basis that she hasn’t fully dedicated herself to the ‘Viking’ gimmick that she has to play at work.

Recently, Russo took to ‘X’ to voice out his opinion on the female WWE star. The ex-WWE official must have come across a certain form of media showing Valhalla playing her gimmick inside the Stamford-based company. This seemed to have outraged Vince Russo, who then tweeted out his thoughts about the same.
@WWE Valhalla needs to STOP Shaving her Pits and Legs. Just a Helpful Suggestion.

Russo further detailed his thought process using another tweet and tried to justify it by saying that ‘Viking women’ probably didn’t shave their body hair and Valhalla should follow suit.

Unfortunately for Russo, the fire had been spread wide by then. Although he had limited his comment section only to the accounts that he follows back on Twitter, fans found other ways to call him out.
WWE fans defend Valhalla’s gimmick from criticism
A wrestling account recently reposted the two tweets that Vince Russo had posted on the subject. This allowed many fans to comment on the situation, as the comment section on the original posts was restricted to only a few selected followers.

A fan started by comparing other kayfabe acts to the current situation to imply that Russo’s statements don’t make much sense. “Wait until he finds out Kane and the Undertaker are not real brothers lol,” wrote the fan. To clear out any sort of possible discrepancies, a WWE fan said, “It’s a character, not a real Viking 😭”

Another internet user commented on the post, “Just shut up Russo. We don’t care what you think.” A viewer couldn’t hold themselves back from calling out Vince Russo for his statement and commented, “Vince Russo should keep his mouth shut right now… because as if he was irrelevant enough, sexist comments like that will put him through even more hell and hot water than ever before.”
Yet another fan using a different gimmick to invalidate what Russo wrote on his account: “Is his head going to explode when he finds out *spoilers* Ezekiel and Elias are the Same person?!” Finally, the fan sentiment in the comment section can be summed into one small comment that someone wrote, “The hell is wrong with that man💀”
