Kurt Angle is WWE’s Olympic Gold Medalist. It’s truly an honor to win a gold in the Olympics. Now, there is another wrestler following in his footsteps, Gable Steveson.
The young wrestler secured the gold medal in the 125kg division freestyle wrestling. He defeated Georgia’s Geno Petriashvili in the last round.
Gable Steveson secured the title in a last-second turnaround victory, and it has sent his fans into a frenzy!

Angle took to social media to express his happiness and congratulated the 21-year-old.

Gable Steveson wants to be the biggest WWE Superstar
Steveson secured the NCAA Division I Championship and made a statement about WWE. Even though he hasn’t worked with WWE then, he claimed that he would become the biggest WWE Superstar.
Apart from that, he has already expressed his desire to be a part of WWE in the future.

“That’s my main goal, and that’s my end goal. As years go on it becomes more realistic, and I can set it happening right when I’m done with college,” he said. “It’s just a matter of me performing and making sure I get to that point. I feel like everybody used to watch [WWE]. Everybody knows who Lesnar and Cena are, and hopefully, kids can look at me like that sometime soon.”
Even Paul Heyman expressed that Gable Steveson would be an asset to the company.
If all goes well, now that he’s secured the Olympic Gold, he could make his way towards WWE.
