Talents drifting from WWE to AEW and vice-versa is quite common. After Edge was signed to AEW a few months ago, Ric Flair was seen in the AEW Dynamite show to everyone’s surprise. Luckily, he was not wrestling this time as he appeared to greet Sting upon his retirement.

But, a former legend believes that Flair’s appearance might have triggered WWE. As a result, they might push John Cena to get back on Ric Flair’s move.

Bully Ray said, “I would say that if, if capital if, underscored, bold letters circles. If WWE has any kind of a bug up in its ass, because Flair went to AEW, you might see the WWE put John Cena in a position to break Flair’s record.

Bully Ray was emphasizing John Cena winning his 17th World title as he sits at the top with Nature Boy Ric Flair. But Flair joined hands with rival company AEW after he was featured on their AEW Dynamite Show on October 25th.

In the past WWE has shown signs of beef with AEW, but they have not chased AEW programs while risking their storylines. Also, Ric Flair is not one of the major talents for WWE at the moment. Hence, Ric Flair’s move to AEW is not much of a concern for WWE.

In Flair’s defense, he moved to AEW for better financial opportunities. Before his appearance, he signed a deal with Tony Khan that ensured a unique source of pay for the 16-time World Champion. It involves his energy drink WOO, a business outlet of Ric Flair.
