After the WWE Champion Bug E accepted the challenge by Bobby Lashley yesterday on the WWE Extreme Rules PPV, tonight’s Monday Night Raw on the USA Network began with a WWE Championship match between Bobby Lashley and Big E.

However, there was a surprise for everyone at the end of the fight, which left Big E with a bitter taste in his mouth.

Tonight’s Raw came from the Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the fans were ready to see the two gigantic men fighting it off for the WWE Championship.

Both the wrestlers came out with the fans cheering more for the WWE Champion Big E, but ‘The Almighty’ Bobby Lashley was not phased by the crowd’s reaction and we witnessed a stare-down between the two.

However, things took an ugly turn for the new champ as Lashley gained control of the match from the get-go, and Big E was at the mercy of Lashley.

Nevertheless, Big E threw some shots here and there, but Lashley shrugged most of them off. In the early stages of the match, Lashley drove Big E into the barricade and then used the ring post as a weapon to hurt the champ.

After a while, it seemed like Big E was getting back to his feet and finally taking control for the first time in the match. However, it all ended when ‘The Hurt Business’ came out!

In the ring, Lashley blocked the Big E from ending and fought back from the apron when Big E rocked him and ran the ropes, delivering a big Spear from the apron to the floor as the fans went crazy.

However, to everyone’s surprise; Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were standing at ringside.
