Vince McMahon shocked the world when he released his own son, Shane McMahon from WWE. This whole fiasco happened after this year’s Royal Rumble premium live event.

However, Shane O’Mac is still meeting with business executives on behalf of WWE. Recently. the owner of South Africa’s Sharks rugby team, Marco Masotti, took to Twitter and announced they signed the deal with WWE.

Now, it looks like that deal went well between the two businessmen. Shane O’Mac took to his Twitter and uploaded a picture with Doug Cifu who is the co-owner of the Florida Panthers team.

Vince McMahon wanted to fight Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 38?

This week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown came with a big surprise. During the show, it was announced that Vince McMahon will appear at the upcoming ‘Pat McAfee Podcast’. However, many reports suggest we reported that this might be a fight angle between McMahon and McAfee at WrestleMania 38.

Notably, why would a 76-year-old fight a commentator out of nowhere? It looks like that before Shane McMahon lost his on-screen/creative control in WWE, McAfee was made part of this match.

Eventually, it looks like Vince was supposed to go one on one against his son at the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’. If the angle between McMahon and McAfee works out, then this would be Vincent’s first match since 2010.

What is next for Shane McMahon in wrestling?

Since the Royal Rumble premium live event, the future of Shane McMahon in the wrestling business has been a matter of great concern. Once the news broke that his father and WWE chairman Vince McMahon released his son and it felt like Shane was done with wrestling.

However, with these latest meetings, things are a bit confusing. Some sources suggest that Shane is still ‘silently’ working for the company and is still involved in bigger meetings and projects.

Veteran WWE referee Mike Chioda recently talked about Shane O’Mac on his podcast. However, Chioda noted that the WWE Universe should not get surprised if Shane shows up at AEW.

Interestingly, Chioda is not the only one who thinks likewise. Many fans on the internet believe that Shane will eventually jump ship to the rival company.

AEW President Tony Khan recently revealed that he has been ‘in and out of meetings’, and admitted that he has big news for the AEW fans. Eventually, the fans tie this news with Shane’s situation.

Interestingly, the situation between AEW and WWE has moved beyond the ‘rating war’. Recently, former EVP of AEW, Cody Rhodes announced his departure from Tony Khan’s company.

Since then, WWE teased multiple times that the ‘American Nightmare’ is coming back to WWE. Eventually, if Rhodes makes his way back to WWE, then he will become the first superstar to jump ship from AEW to WWE.

However, the fans really want to see one last run of Shane McMahon inside the squared circle.
