Taking to social media, one of her former tag team partners shared some adorable honeymoon pictures after her recent wedding.

Sonya Deville posts adorable honeymoon pictures with Toni Cassano

Daria Rae Berenato, a.k.a Sonya Deville, was the first openly gay female wrestler in the WWE. She recently tied the knot with her partner, Toni Cassano. Cassano, a fitness model and enthusiast, and Deville have been engaged since February 2023 and finally got married this month. Along with her honeymoon, she is nursing an injury. On social media, Deville said, “Iconic honeymoon adventure may have come to an end but life with you @fit_toniberenato is just beginning.”

Deville and Cassano are quite open about their relationship on social media, sharing photos and expressing their love for each other. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose were part of Absolution on RAW and Fire and Desire on SmackDown. Both Rose and Deville were part of WWE’s reality show ‘Tough Enough,’ though neither won the competition. Despite coming from different backgrounds, they forged a strong friendship during their time on the show. Following the show, they both signed with WWE and trained in the company’s developmental territory, NXT.

Despite their on-screen rivalry in 2020, Rose and Deville remain friends in real life. They even co-own a clothing and fitness brand together titled Damandyz Donutz. Deville suffered a torn ACL in August 2023 and hasn’t been seen since. Fans have spotted her at the WWE Performance Center, hinting at progress towards her return to the ring. However, no official return date has been announced.

Reports initially suggested a potential comeback at the Royal Rumble PLE in January 2024, which ultimately didn’t materialize. Recent updates suggest she’s still recovering, but an immediate return to the squared circle remains doubtful.
