Australian starlet Grayson Waller recently sat with Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast. In the podcast, the Aussie was spotted discussing various aspects of the WWE. And his conversation wouldn’t have been complete without mentioning John Cena and The Rock. Without hemming and hawing he said, “I don’t know if The Rock is ready for the Waller Effect. He’s been away for a while. I’m already helping out John Cena.”

In his usual heel way, Waller also teased the two WWE legends, saying that he had been the focal point of their reentries. He continued further and said, “I’ve got a lot that I’m carrying. My back is sore from carrying these legends!”  Notably, Waller seemed unconvinced by both legends. However, he thought that he played a crucial role in carrying legends like Cena and Johnson.

Considering the heel persona of wrestlers like Waller, the scenario becomes captivating when they break their character and lay the cards on the table. The same was done by the Australian starlet once when he hailed Cena with his words.

Waller once gave honest praise concerning John Cena

The fans are quite familiar with Cena’s prowess behind the mic. Well, through his perfect use of words, he even bothered the likes of Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns. Thanks to this, Waller once praised the legendary mic skills of The Leader of the Cenation while he had a conversation with Ariel Helwani.

“We’ve all seen before that Cena goes in on people. He doesn’t hold back. He’s going to tell you what he thinks. I love that about him. He’s the measuring stick on the microphone, and he tests people,” said Waller.

It’s rare to see Waller actually compliment one of his fellow wrestlers, particularly Cena. The Aussie star is known for going all in on the kayfabe and insulting his in-ring foes constantly outside the ring, especially on social media. Now, with this latest blow on Cena and The Rock, it seems that Waller is back to his usual self.
