The Hulkster has always been a top draw for any company he has ever been with. The 1980s and 90s saw Hogan rule as a top star for WWF/WWE, and take the company to new heights. He was a major factor in turning WWE from a regional company to an International giant. For a very long time, Hogan remained the face of the company.

In 1993, Hogan left WWE to join their then-major rivals, WCW. When in WCW, he took them to new heights as well. He was a major factor behind the Monday Night Wars and always kept WCW on par with WWE. He was one of the most popular stars in the company and enjoyed creative liberty and huge pay.

WCW was WWE’s one main rival, and they gave Vince McMahon’s company a run for their money. The Monday Night Wars witnessed both companies at a war against each other. While WCW remained at the top initially, they later pummeled to the bottom, and WWE won the battle. A major reason behind WCW’s success was Hulk Hogan aka Hollywood Hogan.

Hogan’s success and efforts toward the company’s success also meant a huge paycheck. The 1998 WCW Bash at the Beach saw Hogan teaming up with Dennis Rodman to face DDP and Karl Malone. The PPV was a tremendous success, with 580,000 sellouts. WCW bringing in NBA stars turned out to be a major success. However, the real winner of this event came out to be Hulk Hogan.

It has been reported that Hogan received a massive seven-figure amount for teaming up with Rodman at WCW Bash at the Beach 1998. Hogan’s contract revealed the exact amount to be $1,350,000.

Hogan’s contract further revealed various other sources of payments that he received or would have received in the future. It also included several licensed products and merchandise against Hogan’s name, even from which he received payments. However, Hulk Hogan was a top star, and it doesn’t matter how high the payment was, he brought in the audience to deserve this amount.

Hulk Hogan suffered from torn biceps for over two decades

During and after his illustrious career, WWE Legend Hulk Hogan has fallen victim to severe injuries. He had to suffer from torn biceps for over 20 years before he underwent surgery in 2020. On Twitter, he revealed his biceps condition.

Back when Hogan suffered a torn bicep, he did not undergo surgery. He later revealed the reason to be a lack of funds. Hogan revealed on his Facebook video that he did not undergo surgery because, in those days, no wrestling meant no pay.
