The Press Event show ahead of Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia, was everything fans hoped it would be. A bit of drama, a lot of hype, and a subtle shade by the biggest names in the WWE. All of this and more were seen during Randy Orton‘s segment on stage. Not only did The Viper get the crowd hyped with a native chant, but he also talked about what would happen in the Chamber. Moreover, he threw some subtle jibs at one of the biggest names in the company.

Randy Orton says he will not be leaving for Hollywood like Dwayne Johnson

While on stage with Kevin Owens, Randy Orton fired the crowd up with the famous “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie” chants. Once everyone was hyped and ready to listen, he ensured they knew what The Viper would do in the Chamber. With Owens, his Chamber opponent, on stage, he took a moment to call out Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Orton said, “I’m not gonna go to Hollywood.”

This was directed at Johnson, who garnered a reputation for leaving the WWE whenever a new acting project came along. One could even say it was a dig at John Cena, who does the same. Orton would continue, “I’m gonna be right here doing stuff like this in front of people like you who appreciate what I do; when I do it, I love you for that.” Despite being in movies himself, Orton has no interest in returning to acting, even though his return to the WWE has boosted his fame.
