Tony Khan has been often called out for his way of handling AEW, especially when it comes to handling talent. Former WCW President Eric Bischoff doesn’t hold back from giving his honest opinions on the CEO of the wrestling company. Even recently, Bischoff talked about Khan on his podcast. In the same episode, Bischoff said how the promotion requires a big change in the creative department.

Even though Khan has been questioned about his management, Bischoff believes that AEW creative is something he needs to give up as soon as possible. Instead, the 68-year-old wants an ex-WWE star to head the creative department of AEW and lead the company into success.

He began by criticizing Tony Khan for his creative involvement in AEW, “That’s not Tony’s strength. It’s not. His creative, his booking, has not been, in the history of AEW, creative is not their strong suit. Have they had some great matches? But that’s not the same thing as great creative, is it? It’s just a great match.

He then further advised, “If I were Tony, I’d give that Collision show to Bryan. Not just be my right-hand man and bounce ideas off. Give it to him. Say, ‘Here you go. Here’s your notepad, here’s your computer, here’s a pen. There’s an office. Call me when you got a show ready.’

Bischoff believes Danielson isn’t long for the ring. So, planning his retirement for him, he believes AEW would benefit from the wrestler’s creative mind. According to Bischoff, if Khan were to give Bryan Danielson full creative control, it would only benefit his company.
