Last week, WWE NXT GM William Regal made a huge announcement regarding the NXT Championship. This announcement came after Karrion Kross had to surrender his title due to injury.
Regal announced a first time-ever four-way ironman match which included four former NXT champions – Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, and Tomasso Ciampa.
The match was one of the best in NXT history. Ciampa looked game and was firing on all cylinders as the match started.

Adam Cole tried to play it smart and make a deal with Finn Balor to have an ally. Unfortunatley, Balor didn’t fall for it and attacked him. The ‘Prince’ attacked Cole and delivered the Coup de grâce and pinned him to win the first fall.

Towards the end, there was just one minute left and Ciampa was in full control. However, Balor would put down Ciampa and hit a Coup de grâce. Balor pinned Ciampa and was leading the match after winning his second fall.

This is a difficult one to predict as Adam Cole and Finn Balor are both top-class performers. However, my vote would go for Finn Balor.
Finn Balor needs this Championship a little more. Since his return to NXT, Balor hasn’t been in any intense rivalry or good storyline. This win could revive his career again.
