‘People Didn’t Want Me’: The Undertaker’s Former Manager Discloses His True Emotions After Getting Ignored from the Deadman’s WWE Hall of Fame Induction

From the day of his entrance into the WWE universe till the day of his retirement, The Undertaker broke several records and permanently etched his name in the annals of the company. The Deadman’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in April of this year, after 30 years of service, was absolutely extraordinary for the company’s fans.

While discussing the same, one of Taker’s close associates recently stunned the WWE fanbase when he revealed he had not received an invitation to the HOF ceremony.

The close associate is none other than Teddy Long, a former general manager, senior advisor, and even Hall of Famer. Fans remember the general manager for announcing ‘You will go one on one with The Undertaker,’ which has become a catchphrase. He recently said that despite being close and coworkers with Taker, they did not invite him to the HOF ceremony.

Long revealed in a recent interview with Wrestling INC that on The Deadman’s most important day of his career; he was not called. He stated, “I’m just saying to you, like I said, didn’t bother me. I don’t care. Because I know this business and I know that there are people that didn’t want me there, and know who those people are. So, I’m just saying to you, how do you miss that?”

He startled everyone by revealing a noteworthy fact: after having worked for the firm for 20 years, some people still don’t want him there. Long acknowledged receiving and declining the request to attend the induction as a guest of Wrestling Inc. as he explained that he didn’t want to look like a sycophant.

Back then, The Deadman served as the blue brand’s figurehead. During that, if anyone disagreed with the General Manager, Teddy Long used to make them wrestle against the Phenom. He managed him not just at WWE but also much earlier in WCW as Mean Mark Callous.

Thus, it is improbable that if Teddy Long is being interviewed, Taker’s name is not mentioned.
