One thing that Snoop Dogg can’t keep his hands on is the Golden Championship presented to him by WWE. The belt has been doing rounds since he received it. While many notable events include the time that it was stolen, the belt resurfaced at the 2024 Superbowl. However, ahead of WrestleMania 40, it looks like it will be making a few more appearances as it was recently seen in the hands of many stars…including Pat McAfee?!
Snoop Dogg’s Championship belt becomes a celebrity
In a post made by WWE on X (formerly Twitter), many stars were seen in possession of the WWE Hall of Famer‘s belt at the NBA All-Stars celebrity game last night. Notable names include rappers Lil Wayne & 50 Cent, former Baltimore Ravens tight end, Shannon Sharpe, Puerto Rican rapper and singer, Anuel AA, and Raw’s latest commentator and familiar WWE face, Pat McAfee. McAfee was also seen doing the finger-pointing sign that Roman Reigns does, probably trying to imitate him.

This is the second time the belt has made an appearance in a week. The last time when it was seen, it was in the hands of Justin Beiber, Khloe Kardashian, T Pain, and many other stars at the 2024 NBA Superbowl. The belt was presented to him by WWE ahead of WrestleMania 39 as a token for his contributions to the company.

However, before the latest appearances before it was handed over to the Eagles, the belt was stolen and the incident sent everyone into a frenzy.

The time when the WWE belt got stolen
After receiving the belt, Dogg took it along with him for his Holidayz of Blaze Tour. The reason was that he wanted to show his fans how cool the belt was. However, no one expected the belt to get stolen while he was on tour. This made the rapper anxious and he took to social media to announce the theft.

He was supposed to bring it along with him for WrestleMania 39 and was worried about what he would tell the Stamford-based promotion when they found out that the belt was stolen. But to everyone’s surprise, the thief came out by himself. It was none other than Guillermo from the Jimmy Kimmel Show. While Guillermo did taunt him saying that he would not return the belt, he lost the belt later on. The belt since then has been doing rounds between the Philly Eagles and various celebrities. While it has been in more hands than a WWE 24/7 Championship belt, do you think Snoop Dogg will get his hands back on his title?
