The state of Tennessee recently fell victim to a natural disaster. The state oftentimes falls prey to various tornadoes during the summer and around November. According to reports, the tornadoes have caused havoc as they hit various cities such as Madison, Springfield, and Gallatin amongst other cities. Now, one former WWE star has revealed that she was caught in this havoc. She also highlighted an act of kindness that she encountered after she experienced the terrifying ordeal of the tornado.

Former WWE Divas Champion gets caught up in the tornado

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), former WWE Divas champion and wife of SmackDown General Manager, Mickie James Aldis, shared the horrors she faced while she was in Madison. According to her account, she was there for some holiday shopping when a tornado struck her truck. The tornado was so powerful that it allegedly pushed her truck across the road. She also stated that the sky turned black and the only way she could save herself was to seek refuge in a Kroger supermarket. Aldis said on Twitter, “I was in Madison Christmas shopping when this touched down. It pushed my truck across the road. The sky turn black within seconds. I had to pull in & run into @kroger with D until it was over. I’ve never been so terrified. Also thank you to the staff at Madison Kroger ♥️

Aldis also thanked the staff of Madison Kroger as they helped her in such a terrifying time. The act of kindness by the employees of the retail supermarket proved to be a beacon of light in such trying times. According to reports, the storm outbreak might affect the state for most of this month.

What do we know about the Tennessee Tornadoes?

The governor of Tennessee state, Bill Lee, has declared a state of emergency in light of the recent havoc caused by the tornadoes. The storms started to roll in on Saturday, December 9 around 12:30 in the afternoon. The tornadoes had crossed the Tennessee River, making their way to Stewart County. The first tornado warning was issued in the county around 1:22 PM. 34 storm warnings were issued in the state, with 20 being Tornado warnings.

According to preliminary reports by The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, a total of 13 tornadoes had hit the state. The list of affected counties includes Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Gibson, Montgomery, Robertson, and a few more. The governor had issued a Level 3 state of emergency, which stands for a serious emergency or a minor disaster.
