Randy Orton Provides Massive Update on His WWE Retirement

The early 2000s brought the WWE debuts of several WWE superstars like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton. Young talented stars of yesterday are WWE legends now. Interestingly, Cena, Orton, and Lesnar are still going strong.

Though Cena and Lesnar have not always been a regular in WWE over the years, Randy Orton has been. ‘The Viper’ is a WWE veteran today. He is undoubtedly one of the most experienced guys on the roster with plenty of experience in his bag.

But eventually, he will also have to bid farewell to the WWE Universe. Recently, while talking to Adam Glyn of the Adam’s Apple YouTube show, Randy provided a major update on his retirement plans.

He said, “I just turned 40 a year ago. I got another decade in me. We will see.” Randy Orton is going to turn 41 just prior to WrestleMania 38.

But the former WWE Champion is still going strong inside the squared circle. In fact, he is also presently one half of the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions, having won the titles on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

Why is Randy Orton considered a WWE legend?

Though Orton worked as a heel several times during his WWE career, no one can deny the fact that he is a true legend of this company.

Over the years, he has entertained the WWE Universe with his in-ring skills inside the ring and his thrilling promos.

He is a 10-time WWE Champion, 4-time World Heavyweight Champion, a former WWE United States Champion, a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, a former World Tag Team Champion, 2 times WWE Raw Tag Team Champion, and a former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion.

The Viper‘ also won the WWE Royal Rumble Match in 2009 and 2017 and is a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion in WWE. Recently at WWE Survivor Series 2021 Premium Live Event, he even became the person with the most PPV appearances in WWE (male).
