In case you’ve been living under a rock, Seth Rollins has turned into one of the most vicious heels in recent memory. The pinnacle of his evil streak came at the Horror Show at Extreme Rules where he blinded Rey Mysterio in an “Eye for an Eye match.” As was obvious, that set Mysterio’s son Dominik on a path for revenge.

However, the biggest obstacle in the path of the younger Mysterio was his lack of experience. That’s what Seth exploited time and again as he used the numbers game against him to full advantage.

Dominik soon realized that the fair game won’t get him too far as his opponent was the devil himself. Hence, we started seeing him with a kendo stick as he brutally assaulted “The Monday Night Messiah” and his disciple Murphy.

Last week on Raw, Rollins and Dominik met in the ring to sign the contract for their SummerSlam match. That’s when Rollins made a huge offer to Rey Mysterio’s son. He wanted their match at SummerSlam to be no holds barred, with both opponents being allowed to use the weapon of their choice.

After Dominik accepted this proposal, he got a taste of what was coming for him at the biggest party of the summer. Rollins and Murphy whipped him black and blue with his favorite weapon – the kendo stick.

Who gains from this stipulation – Seth Rollins or Dominik?

Usually, it’s the heel who benefits when the rules are thrown out the window. However, in this particular scenario, Dominik might be able to conceal his weaknesses due to the stipulation.

Even though his father is one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Dominik is still pretty green in the ring. In a street fight, the focus is more on high percentage spots and not as much on the technical aspect of the sport. As much as we’ve seen Dominik till now, spot based wrestling is where he shines.
