“Really Strange” Reason Behind Vince McMahon Showing No Remorse to “Punish” and “Insult” Bray Wyatt

Vince McMahon was a real visionary in the wrestling industry, but at the end of his career in WWE, he was a little disconnected from the modern era. That is the reason why people are hyped up about Triple H taking over the company. All the PPVs after Hunter’s climb to the top have been nothing short of amazing. But the damage done by McMahon will not be erased so quickly.

One of the biggest examples of McMahon’s mistreatment of his employees could be seen in Bray Wyatt. Poor booking and mismanagement of the character buried Wyatt’s out-of-the-box ideas immediately on-screen. But this WWE legend, who worked with Wyatt for a short time detailed the backstage mistreatment as well.

On The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the WWE legend revealed, “Windham (Bray Wyatt) has always had a very strange relationship with Vince, very strange, like, I almost felt like Vince looked at him like a son in some ways. When he would do things that he liked, he would love him and he would really give him everything that he could possibly give him. He would bend over backward to try and accommodate him.

But then, when he did something he didn’t like, he hated, like he was going to lock him away for good… When he liked him or loved him, he was all about him. But when he disliked him, oh my god, it was really bad, and he would like to punish him and insult him.” Hardy added that the relationship was too parental in nature, which creeped him out.

But now Bray Wyatt is finally back! And he is only going to take his creativity and give the wrestling world his true storytelling. Under Triple H’s guise, Wyatt can truly let go of everything that bound him under Vince McMahon. We already saw the first glimpses of this change this past Friday on SmackDown and it’s only been one week since he made his return.
