Ever since CM Punk got fired from AEW, fans have been eagerly anticipating his next move. Most wrestling fans are speculating that Punk will make an appearance at Survivor Series on 25th November. However, recent reports suggest the opposite.

This news will definitely not go down well with CM Punk fans.

Generally, when ideas are formulated for big returns and surprises, the key people involved come to know of such big events. The same is not the case with CM Punk’s return to his hometown of Chicago.

Reports suggest that no one has heard murmurs of Punk’s return at Survivor Series. Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported, “Those in WWE creative have not been told of anything involving CM Punk returning, and those who would normally be in the know about these things, including on the big surprises like Cody Rhodes returning, don’t know anything”. This will leave a dent to the hopes of fans who expect to see the second coming of Punk to WWE at Survivor Series.

But as fans still hope for the best, Punk shed some light on whether he is returning to the WWE.

Ever since his exit from AEW, fans have been hoping that Punk will join the WWE soon. And they feel Survivor Series is the perfect PLE for his return as it will happen in his hometown of Chicago.

Recently Punk addressed those rumors in an interview with Dan Bernstein and Lawrence Holmes on the radio station 670 The Score. When asked whether he will appear at Survivor Series, Punk decided to divert the attention to something else.

He said, “I think it’s sold out”, he then added, “I think tickets are hard to get”. This was a very safe way of still keeping the fans guessing whether he would return to the WWE or not. I still vividly remember the time when WWE VHS's used to be played on cable movie channels every Sunday(early 90s in India). And that's where my love for the WWE began. My love and passion for pro wrestling only grew over the years in the form of a mini collection of cards, stickers, tees, action figures and even a WWE Championship belt signed by the 'Big Red Machine' Kane himself (talk about getting lucky).
