Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported, “Those in WWE creative have not been told of anything involving CM Punk returning, and those who would normally be in the know about these things, including on the big surprises like Cody Rhodes returning, don’t know anything”. This will leave a dent to the hopes of fans who expect to see the second coming of Punk to WWE at Survivor Series.

CM Punk finally answered whether he will return at Survivor Series

He said, “I think it’s sold out”, he then added, “I think tickets are hard to get”. This was a very safe way of still keeping the fans guessing whether he would return to the WWE or not.
