There is nothing cuter than a couple living their best lives, whether in the normal world or pro wrestling. In the WWE, we have a few couples; we even have a few who work outside the WWE. Rhea Ripley is a great example of the latter. Her fiancé, AEW star Buddy Matthews, recently did something that was a nod to the WWE star that set the bar very high.

The couple is journeying through their love story, with their most notable pit stop recently recorded. In August 2023, the two got engaged. The couple doesn’t shy away from sharing their fondness for each other and this time it was the AEW star’s turn.

While the WWE Universe knows the stomp is a massive part of Ripley’s entrance, Matthews thought of trying it out. The comparison video made by fans shows just how in sync the two are. Maybe they practiced at home, or Ripley showed her fiancé how to do it, just like she does. Nevertheless, the emulation not only brought a crossover between both promotions, but it also displayed the couple’s love at the forefront.
