Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has been around pro-wrestling through its thick and thin. The longevity of the 16-time world champion is unreal.
However, it was not always easy for ‘The Nature Boy’, who was in a plane crash in his younger days. The former champion has overcome multiple obstacles in his way to become ‘The Man’ of the industry.

On ‘The Wooooo Nation‘, the 72-year-old said, “I’m working out regularly. Rob [trainer] tells me unless he is lying to me, I don’t think he is. I am in kind of the shape that people aren’t supposed to be at my age. But I spend time doing it.”

Not long ago, the former WCW champion was put into a medically induced coma. After being in a coma for almost a month, Flair made his way back and is still ‘stylin’ and profilin’.
Ric Flair feels he has one more match in him
‘The Nature Boy’ confessed that a few years ago he was not doing great, health-wise, as he was struggling with drinking problems. However, he bounced back like the star that he is and started working out and taking care of his body.

The 16-time world champion also confessed that luck was one of the biggest factors that increased the longevity of his in-ring career.
He was an active part of the WWE roster until the age of 59 when he retired after losing a career-threatening match to Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24. Ric Flair competed at TNA (now IMPACT wrestling) well into his sixties.

Even though he doesn’t take bumps, the former champion is still a valuable addition to the world of pro-wrestling. He makes sporadic WWE appearances and runs an active podcast. Ric Flair has also teased one more match, but has accepted that it may not happen.
