Ric Flair Thanks Wife Wendy for Staying by His Side When He Battled Death

‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair has been around the world of pro-wrestling for decades. The 72-year-old WWE Hall of Famer is still up to making appearances and teasing in-ring returns periodically. Eventually, having a career that spanned over three decades took a toll on Flair’s body, and he has had more than his share of health complications.

The 16 times World Champion took to his Instagram and thanked his wife Wendy Barlow for staying by his side when he was hospitalized.

The image in the post is from one of Flair’s hospital visits, when he was in a medically induced coma for a month in 2017. Flair thanked Wendy for staying by his side and playing songs from the legendary singer, Johnny Cash.

WWE released the Nature Boy from his WWE contract this year. Everything between the two parties looked amicable at first, but gradually Flair started to take shots on WWE.
