We are just days away from one of the biggest WrestleMania in the history of WWE, WrestleMania XL. Emotions are at an all-time high with stars trying to secure their place on the match card, and some other stars looking forward to ending their rivalry once and for all this year. One such rivalry is the main event of Night 2, Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) a member of the Anoa’i family, Lance Anoa’i posted a cryptic message hinting at his WWE return. Along with a photo, he wrote, Best shape of my Career and I’m only getting started! #WWE #TSS.” Lance Anoa’i has been dominating the indie circuits since he left WWE in 2019. He has been a part of the Major League Wrestling and is currently a free agent.

Unlike his cousins who are a part of the Bloodline, Anoa’i’s WWE career was quite short-lived. It spanned from 2015 to 2019 and it was full of tryouts. The only notable match he had was back in November 2019, where he faced off against Shane McMahon on his Raw debut. However, he was then attacked by Drew McIntyre. In an interview, he mentioned how fatal the attack was.

Lance Anoa’i’s WWE return left in shambles

As the Bloodline grew stronger, fans witnessed unique and interesting angles to the story. One such angle was the Tribal Court. While the story did have a lot of potential and it was a fresh idea, it had a mediocre reception amongst fans. However, WWE originally wanted it to be an actual court with an actual trial.

In an interview, Anoa’i mentioned that WWE had originally approached many members of the Samoan Royal Wrestling Family. This included Lance Anoa’i himself, his father, and his grandfather, who happens to be Peter Mavia’s first cousin. Unfortunately, they had to pass on the opportunity as most of them were tied down by some commitment or the other. The MLW star stated that his contract with the wrestling league also prevented him from appearing on WWE. However, with the scale at which this year’s WrestleMania is set to be, do you think the Anoa’i family will be present in Philadelphia?
