What are the predictions for this week’s WWE SmackDown?

1) Get ready for a new chapter in the story of Reigns: Following his incredible victory over Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns sets out for WrestleMania. There is much excitement around the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion’s victorious return to SmackDown.

After dominating for an astounding 1,240 days, The Head of the Table has shown his dominance against the best in the industry. Reigns made a name for himself on The Island of Relevancy. This week’s episode has a lot of potential for a dramatic clash since Cody Rhodes is also scheduled to arrive.

2) Logan Paul appears: Logan Paul won in his championship defense against Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble, despite Owens’ usage of brass knuckles disqualifying him. Sadly, Paul was the target of a vicious attack, which changed the course of the post-match activities.

Paul will fearlessly confront his defeat this week on SmackDown and confront Kevin Owens. Rumors indicate that the scene might get violent during the segment, perhaps resulting in a confrontation in Elimination Chamber. Get ready for a plot that will captivate you with its intensity.

3) Cody Rhodes chooses between Rollins or Reigns: Fresh off his Royal Rumble triumph, Cody Rhodes had plans to challenge Roman Reigns for the ultimate showdown at The Showcase of the Immortals. However, a surprising twist unfolded on Raw when Seth Rollins asserted himself as the true championship contender.

Now, caught in the middle, Cody is scheduled to make an appearance on SmackDown, where he may square off against the Bloodline and Roman Reigns in what looks to be a very charged session. The trip to WrestleMania takes a surprising turn, and the anticipation is rising for the emerging drama.

4) Bayley to choose between Ripley or Sky: Following her victory in the Women’s Royal Rumble bout, Bayley graciously appeared on Raw. Bayley’s celebration took a turn when Rhea Ripley confronted her, leading to Nia Jax pressuring Bayley to pick IYO SKY as Ripley’s next opponent. Faced with a tough decision, Bayley promised to reveal her choice on this week’s SmackDown.

Speculations arise about whether she’ll choose IYO SKY or strategically delay. Fans are excited for a potential Bayley vs. Rhea showdown, and the twist of Damage CTRL turning on its founder adds anticipation to the unfolding narrative.

5) Breakker, Hayes and Williams

In advance of their encounter at NXT Vengeance Day on February 4, 2024, Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, and Trick Williams are expected to make an appearance this Friday, according to a reliable source cited by PWInsider Elite. Rumor has it that their attendance is probably intended to spark conversation regarding their main roster deal and to build anticipation for their forthcoming Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals encounter.
