However, the Hollywood superstar’s recent activity on social media hints toward the possibility of him coming back to the squared circle sooner than fans would expect.

Recently, the 16-time WWE World Champion took to Instagram to upload a seemingly random picture for his followers to behold. But things took a turn when the wrestling fans started to decipher a hidden message behind the post.

All of Cena’s Instagram followers are aware of the kind of pictures that he posts on his account. The content is often random and also without any additional context. Recently, Cena repeated the tradition on his official Instagram handle and confused fans in the process.

The picture that The Cenation Leader uploaded on his social media account was not easy to decipher. He uploaded the picture of an hourglass which had almost completed its ongoing turn.

Just like every other post of his on the platform, there was no explanation given regarding the post. As a result, it encouraged fans to decipher subjective meanings. Interestingly enough, most of the fans came to a consensus, deciphering the same message from a rather subjective image.

Fans want John Cena to return to WWE

As reported earlier, the chances of seeing John Cena in the ring again are slim. But this doesn’t stop fans from speculating about his next return. Recently on WWE’s ‘The Bump’, Randy Orton revealed that his dream match would be to face John Cena in a singles match at WrestleMania for the World title. This is because they haven’t done so, and it would be a respectful nod to their previous feuds.

Keeping ‘The Viper’s statement in mind, a fan commented, “One more match with Randy Orton bro pls.” After this, a fan demanded when he would like to see the former champion next, along with some ‘pleading hands’ emojis. “Royal rumble 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Another fan added to Orton’s wish by saying, “Randy wants you at WrestleMania for the championship. Big dreams. I like it.” An internet user contradicted Cena’s wish to retire by commenting, “You can’t retire Cena, Orton wants a WM match.
