Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the rare WWE Superstars who have held onto the Undisputed WWE Championship for over 1000 days. The Tribal Chief is currently the fifth-longest WWE Championship holder. Despite these feats and achievements, Reigns is not in the good books of all fans. While the WWE Universe has not liked Roman Reigns for many reasons throughout his career, the reason this time is very legitimate. The reason for this resentment and unpopularity lies in the part-time schedule that Reigns has opted for instead of a full-time schedule for the WWE.

The unavailability of Reigns resulted in WWE creating another Heavyweight title apart from the original. Currently, Seth Rollins holds onto the newly created title. Breaking his silence on the issue, Seth Rollins said some very strong words for Roman Reigns and his part-time schedule.

Seth Rollins said that Reigns has been hogging the WWE title and the main event spotlight for a very long time now. He said that Reigns is not doing his duty as a true Champion and defending his title. According to Rollins, this results in a lack of variety on the show and minimal opportunities for the show to progress. This also limits the chances many talented wrestlers deserve to have at the championship.

Seth Rollins is one of the most dynamic and robust wrestlers on the WWE roster. Comparing himself and his level of dedication to the WWE, Seth Rollins called out Roman Reigns while giving an interview to Ryan Satin.

“If Roman was doing what I’m doing, there wouldn’t really be a need for a secondary championship, there wouldn’t be a need for another World Heavyweight Championship on RAW,” said Rollins.

Rollins also commented that a champion must do what they should, which is defending the title. “I’m very happy to be that carrot that’s dangling there, and I think it’s a good thing, and again if Roman were doing all this stuff and defending the title all over the place, then we wouldn’t have all these problems,” said Rollins.

This raises the question: what does the future hold for Roman Reigns? What will his tenure be like after he loses the WWE Championship title?

It hasn’t been a long time since Rollins became the holder of the second WWE Heavyweight title. He has defended it a lot more times than Roman Reigns has defended his title in the span of a year. Rollins fought in seven title defense matches in the month of June alone whereas Roman Reigns has defended his title only on five occasions in the entire year.

Apart from his title defense match at WrestleMania against Cody Rhodes, the Head of the Table hasn’t defended his title in a marquee match.
