Paul Heyman was announced as the first Hall of Fame inductee for the 2024 batch a few days ago. While some had only good things to say about him on this occasion, a former WWE superstar wishes to expose him thoroughly. Talking about his ex-manager on his podcast, Ryback revealed why his memories with Heyman are not very pleasant.

Highlighting the bad parts of working with Paul Heyman, Ryback accused the infamous manager of conspiring against him backstage. ‘Silverback’ claims that he was used by the former ECW owner when he worked with him for a brief time.

There have been many ‘Paul Heyman guys’ throughout the manager’s career, and Ryback was one of them. However, the retired wrestler had only worked with Paul Heyman for a brief time before the latter stopped managing him. When a fan asked Ryback about why this happened, he answered by recalling an incident when he was still in the promotion.

The former WWE International Champion said, “He’s very dirty. He does a lot of backstage shady things. I don’t vibe well with that — but he — and I didn’t want to be with him.”

Ryback added, “He wanted to use me to extend his feud with CM Punk because his run with Curtis Axel was coming to an end… So what he did is he brought me in to fill in for like two or three months and then he left us so he could get away from Curtis, but leave Curtis with me.”

According to the ex-WWE star, Heyman used him to get into another feud, making him just a filler in between. This is something that Ryback is not a fan of, as he has already spoken about Heyman ‘latching’ on to other talents.

A few years ago, Ryback assumed the responsibility of exposing his former manager as he went on a spree to do so.
