After a brief period of lull, things are looking bright once again for WWE’s first fourth-generation superstar. Yes, Ava has been making the news once again with her stint as makeshift a general manager in a few episodes of NXT. Just a few days ago, she was seen coming out of Shawn Michaels‘ cabin and when questioned announced a match featuring Roxanne and Kiana James.

This prompted some social media users to predict Ava’s new role in the promotion. Now Shawn Michaels- NXT’s creative head- has revealed his thoughts about Dwayne Johnson‘s daughter.

Michaels has hailed the 22-year-old as a natural. Speaking at the NXT Deadline media call as per Fightful, HBK said he has received constant help from the Anoa’i family members.

“…she comes and sees me a lot and brings me a lot of information about these matches and I got to tell you, I think she’s done a really great job,” he said. Michaels also lauded Ava’s “astute” business sense and help, which he admitted helped him “with all of the stuff “ he does.

The former DX member also revealed WWE’s plans pertaining to Ava and her future in the company. The Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative of NXT said Johnson’s daughter is “still part of the NXT roster and a big part of it”. He also hinted at Ava taking up a managerial role in the future.

“Nothing would thrill me more than to take more off my hands in the future, but we’ll have to see how that goes,” he said.
