The investigation is yet ongoing over the hush money Vince McMahon paid to a female WWE employee to hide their relationship. This news shocked everyone when it broke out to the public a few weeks ago.

However, the relationship between Mr. McMahon and his wife Linda McMahon is also at complex levels. Questions about whether they are separated or divorced have popped up over social media.

Recently, wrestling veteran Jim Cornette shed a light on Vince and Linda McMahon situation on episode 252 of Jim Cornette’s Drive Thru. He shared that Mr. McMahon and Linda McMahon did not have a divorce; rather, they had a settlement.

Cornette said, “Since this has come out about Vince, well, why Linda divorced him a long time ago. She could be filthy rich, she’d have half of every. Somebody out there Linda McMahon is hurting for money. What do you think they just didn’t do? The settlement was already made. She would spend $80 million to run for senate, like she is going to be a f**king senator.”

He added, “All the other things that she has done and gone on to do that was her settlement. She don’t have to do sh*t, she’s got all the money she needs and she can go flit around and try to.”

Cornette also said how she is currently living her life. Linda McMahon didn’t need a divorce to get her settlement, which is used for her run in politics. Moreover, Vince and Linda McMahon aren’t staying together anymore.

Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio shared his thoughts on this matter a few weeks ago. He said, “Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.”

How were Vince and Linda McMahon outside WWE?

Vince and Linda McMahon share a marriage of over 50 years. However, they aren’t living together anymore, as per Dave Meltzer. On his podcast, Jim Cornette also shared how the couple was in their house when he visited them back in the day while working for WWE.

Cornette said, “They weren’t any ( “lovey-dovey” like normal couple) They spoke to each other. We would be there on Wednesdays usually, sometimes they’d change the day.” 

Cornette claimed they saw Linda McMahon at WWE HQ more than at their house. He stated she would come to Mr. McMahon’s office, remind him of some stuff they needed to do, and leave.

Also, as per the wrestling booker, Vince and Linda McMahon had separate offices at WWE HQ. Furthermore, unless there was a huge meeting, he never saw both together most of the time.
