The #1 ranked wrestler in the world, as per Pro-Wrestling Illustrated, has now taken on the task of settling the dust with Shinsuke Nakamura. But his back issues might be troublesome as Nakamura has consciously attacked Rollins to weaken him before their match. Regardless, let’s take a look at the probable outcomes of the match.

It could be that Rollins wins clean and retains his title. The most obvious case would be for Rollins to win his title clean and continue his run as the Champion. However, this would hamper the push for Nakamura who has been without a World title despite being a top performer at WWE.

Ricochet could also intervene to attack Nakamura. On the September 18th episode of RAW, Nakamura attacked Ricochet with steel chairs to damage his left leg. Ricochet was later saved by Rollins, who took on Nakamura. Hence, Ricochet might jump in to attack Nakamura to return the favor. This might give Rollins an advantage to win.

In another scenario, Damian Priest could also cash in his MITB contract. The biggest danger that Rollins has right now is from MITB winner Damian Priest. The Judgment Day member has his stable to support him while Rollins faces Nakamura with an injured back. It will be a golden opportunity for Priest as Rollins would be at his weakest after the match.

Either way, fans can expect a high-action match between the two superstars as they battle it out in a last-man-standing match. Fastlane will take place on 7th October at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis.
