Alexa Bliss had a rough time on Twitter today. Following the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, fans attacked her for one of her tweets which left her in an argument with some of them.

After the controversial storyline trajectory in the Mysterio Family vs Seth Rollins feud, WWE fans took to social media to criticize the absurdity of what they were going to see.

As you can see, Alexa Bliss jokingly praised Murphy for trying to slide into Rey Mysterio’s daughter Aaliyah’s DMs. WWE fans instantly trashed her for this and brought out the entire ‘love has no age’ argument.

The main topic that makes this interesting is that Murphy and Alexa Bliss used to date. The two, however, maintain the mutual friendship and Bliss did not mean any offense in her tweet.

She cleared the air by explaining how her message had nothing to do with Aaliyah’s age compared to Murphy’s.

When some salty fans continued ribbing her, she highlighted her own strong relationship with musician Ryan Cabrera. Cabrera, 38 years of age, is 9 years older than Bliss but the two have excellent chemistry with each other.

Bliss also lost her cool and sarcastically teased her connection with every feud her ex-boyfriend got involved in. Clearly, the fans had blown it out of proportion. “The Goddess” also ended up locking her Twitter to prevent further backlash.

A lot of opinions state that the romantic angle between Murphy and Aaliyah should not happen. The Mysterio-Rollins feud is being dragged into obscurity and many don’t want to see it heading into yet another main event.

Many fans also feel that Aaliyah should not be dragged into it so early and especially not in a romantic angle. However the story may continue, this couldn’t possibly be the best path.

Alexa Bliss did have to deal with some troubling fans today, but she is never one to walk away from the SmackDown. She i,s after all, one of the few Superstars that have managed to beat the “What?!” chants.
