Rhea Ripley made history at WrestleMania 37 as she defeated Asuka to win the Raw Women’s Championship. Even though the ‘Nightmare’ beat the ‘Empress’ fair and square, the latter still has a rematch clause. The two were set to collide once more at WrestleMania Backlash. However, there is a slight change, thanks to Charlotte Flair.

Last night on Raw, Charlotte Flair wiggled herself into the Raw Women’s Championship match. After defeating Dana Brooke, WWE Official Sonya Deville came out to the ring. Deville allowed Charlotte to speak as she talked greatly about herself.

The Queen‘ added that she is the one who ended Asuka’s undefeated streak and also the one who defeated Rhea Ripley last week. Charlotte added that if she isn’t in the match, then the match has no value at all.

She asked Sonya to make the right decision and put her in the Ripley vs Asuka match at WrestleMania BackLash.

Without wasting any time, Sonya Deville accepted Charlotte’s suggestion and made the Raw Women’s Title match a Triple Threat. However, Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley wasn’t thrilled to have Flair added to her match. She came down and said how triple threats are unfair.

Before the ‘Nightmare’ could say anything more, former champion Asuka came out as well. The ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ was far more confident than Ripley.

She said she would beat both women to become the new Raw Women’s Champion. Flair interrupted and said Rhea might walk in as champ, but it will be her who walks out as champ.

Just as Charlotte Flair said that, Rhea Ripley got into Sonya Deville’s face. We believed she’d put her down with a punch, but before that, Charlotte Flair attacked her.

Asuka quickly got Charlotte off Rhea and sent her reeling outside the ring. Asuka stood tall in the ring two weeks ahead of their title match. Will the sight be the same then? We’ll only find out two weeks from now!

If you ask us, we’re not really supportive of the idea to add Charlotte Flair in the match. It takes the momentum and spotlight away from Rhea Ripley and Asuka, especially Ripley. All in all, WWE can do what they want, but Rhea should not lose at WrestleMania BackLash.
