There was a time when fans didn’t have social media and would resort to wrestling forums to vent their frustration with the product. However, with each passing year, social media has given everyone a platform to voice their opinions. Today, with the growing AEW vs. WWE drama on those very same platforms, negativity is all one can see.

This is where a former WWE Champion dropped a very insightful message for the pro wrestling community. A message that could help bring out some positivity in the business.

During the past few weeks, social media has been buzzing with news regarding the drama between AEW and WWE. Fans have chosen their sides, while others spread hate on both ends.

The seemingly endless amount of criticism both companies get from the pro wrestling fans prompted Cardona to put out a message regarding their behavior.

On his Instagram, he posted, “I’ve been in the pro wrestling business for 20 years.” As mentioned earlier, Cardona started his pro wrestling career in 2004. He continued with, “2024 is going to be f@cking exciting.” With his 20 years in the industry, he’s seen the ups and downs the business can have. Cardona’s time in the WWE is a good example of that.

He said, “Stop b***hing about what you don’t like and just appreciate and support the stuff you do like.” While we’re unsure about what aspect of the industry Cardona was talking about, we can safely assume it is regarding the negativity the fans have been producing online. According to him, fans can support the aspects of wrestling they like and ignore the stuff they don’t like.

2024 has been off to a great start like Cardona said

For WWE fans, 2024 saw the return of Dwayne Johnson to challenge Roman Reigns. The Royal Rumble 2024 is just weeks away, which will start the road to WrestleMania. For AEW fans, The Devil was unmasked, and a new AEW World Champion was crowned. Fans will get to see Sting have the last match of his career in AEW this year.

TNA and other promotions were not left out. The most recent TNA Hard To Kill did fairly well with ratings and viewership numbers. No matter what company fans support, there is something for all of them. What do you think about Cardona’s words?

My passion for professional wrestling began when I saw Kane ripping the Hell in a Cell door off in the iconic 1997 match. I used to enjoy watching WWE re-runs at 5 in the evening when I got home from school. It was sort of a ritual for me.
