Finn Balor has waited seven years for this moment to get back his revenge on Seth Rollins, to claim the title he never lost. As Balor made his entrance for his SummerSlam match, the camera panned toward him. Looking at the camera, he showed off his new tattoo, which he specially got for his opponent of the night.

Seven years ago in 2016, Balor and Rollins fought to become the inaugural Universal Champion at SummerSlam. Balor picked up the victory then but had to relinquish his title 22 hours after winning it because of Rollins. Rollins power bombing him onto the ring barricade at the SummerSlam match led to sustaining a shoulder injury and thus he was forced to drop his belt.

For seven years, Balor had resentment building inside him and he finally got to take it out today. While Rollins was wearing the same in-ring gear as in 2016, Balor has a “SEVEN” tattooed on the shoulder that Rollins injured seven years ago. Seeing this tattoo, fans went online to comment about it.
