“This is my Final Hurrah”- Renee Young breaks Silence on her WWE Future

WWE SummerSlam may already be underway but many of you may not have noticed the emotional moment that occurred during the kick-off show. After years of service for the company, Renee Young has officially said goodbye for the last time.

This happened on the panel discussion before the main event kicked off and Young had a chance to dress the millions of viewers of her departure.

“I’m so excited to be here doing my last hurrah here with WWE-,” said Young, “-and I mean, no other place in here than SummerSlam with this beatific panel here in the ThunderDome!”

Renee Young joined WWE back in 2012 as an announcer for an up and coming NXT. Taking backstage interviews, Young soon started making frequent in-ring appearances.

Soon, she was transferred to SmackDown where she got a lot of screen time through short segment interviews with Superstars. She soon became a regular face Backstage.

Renee Young will live on through ‘Talking Smack’

The WWE Universe was shocked when the news broke out that Renee Young was leaving. Everyone has gotten so used to seeing her backstage or sometimes inside the ring.

Young is married to AEW Superstar Jon Moxley, whom she met while he worked at the company as Dean Ambrose. She may decide to join AEW in the near future to be with her husband and continue her ringside charisma.

The last few months have not been very smooth for Renee Young. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier on and was amongst the first WWE employees to contract the virus.

She also had to painfully hear the news that her show ‘Backstage’ was being canceled as part of WWE’s budget cuts. Howeever, not all is lost for Young’s legacy at WWE.

Talking Smack, a show essentially made famous by Young, is being brought back. Xavier Woods and Kayla Braxton will be taking the place of Young as co-host.

The show must go on, and it will. We sure will miss seeing Renee Young in those short interviews. We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors!
