Coming live from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, this episode of WWE SmackDown had a ton of unveil. The future of The Bloodline, the final number #1 contender for Cody Rhodes’ WWE Undisputed Universal title, the Women’s title on the line, new Tag Team title belts, and much more. Here are the results for everything that went down on WWE SmackDown.

The first match of the show was the Number #1 Contender’s match for the WWE Undisputed Universal title. Both men have been at it since Elimination Chamber, and this match took off quickly. Spilling to the outside both men spilled to the outside using the announce table. Both men were gunning for Cody Rhodes’ title, and this mirrored their encounter at WrestleMania XL. While Styles lost at Mania, one Phenomenal Forearm and he picked up the win. Styles will be facing Rhodes at Backlash for the title.

Backstage segment: Solo Sikoa arrived at the venue with new threads and welcomed Tama Tonga as the new MFT. Turning to Paul Heyman, he asked if Kevin Owens was in the house.

In-ring segment: General manager Nick Aldis and Triple H get ready to unveil the new tag team title belts. Ahead of The Game entering the ring, another Uncle Howdy QR code appears. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory make their way down and are introduced to the new WWE Tag Team belts. However, unlike The Miz and R-Truth, who were thankful, Waller and Theory were arrogant. This led to Aldis stepping in and claiming he could make them both disappear.

WWE Tag Team Championship Number #1 Contender’s Match: The Street Profits vs. Legado del Fantasma vs. New Catch Republic vs. The Authors of Pain

Winner: The Street Profits

The fatal-four tag team match started out with Ford and Bate. While the two were dishing it out, Gaza got in on the action. There were many instances where all hell was about to break loose in the match between The Street Profits and AOP. Near the end, while Bate and Dunne looked like they had the upper hand, a moonsault from Garza ended it. The Street Profits won with a Frog Splash from Ford, followed by the Revelation on Garza.

In-ring segment: The Bloodline with Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman came out to the ring. While getting booed by the audience calling for Roman Reigns, Tama Tonga brought out Kevin Owens. A broken and injured Owens was laid out by Tonga. Despite getting beaten up, he tried to fight back. Unfortunately, he was left in a bloodied mess by the newest member of The Bloodline.

Backstage segment: Nick Aldis told Paul Heyman that The Bloodline’s actions were unacceptable. Heyman claimed that none of it was issued by Roman Reigns. However, Aldis ensured that there would be consequences.

Carlito vs Santos Escobar

Winner: Santos Escobar

The rivalry between Escobar and LWO continues, with Carlito taking on Escobar. The match featured Zelina Vega and Elektra Lopez by ringside. However, the match was not long, with Escobar cheating with a low blow into a Phantom Driver for the win.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: Bayley vs. Naomi

Winner: Bayley retains due to Tiffany Startton’s involvement

Before the match could start, Damage CTRL came out to the ring. Anticipating some involvement, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair came out to support Naomi. The match was equally paced, with both women putting their best forward. The match went well until Tiffany Stratton interfered, leading to a no-contest. She proceeded to attack both women and ended with a moonsault on Naomi.
