“That’s a Safe Way”: WWE Legend Hopeful of Dwayne Johnson’s WWE Return But It’s Not Against Roman Reigns

Dwayne Johnson is enjoying a highly successful career in Hollywood. He has worked in many famous franchises and continues to expand his horizons. Despite this, a lot of fans want to see him back in a WWE ring and that allure of more matches hasn’t gone away.

Former WWE commentator Jim Ross has given his view on how The Rock could return for one more match at WrestleMania.

Still, the fans hope to see The Rock return to in-ring action one more time, despite his Hollywood commitments.

Jim Ross suggests how The Rock could make his WWE return

Jim Ross, who signed Dwayne Johnson to WWE, shared his views while speaking on The Grilling JR about the former WWE Champion’s return.

“I can see now here’s the thing. I can see rock having a mixed tag with his daughter at WrestleMania, can see that. And now there’s a lot of there’ll be naysayers that will knock that idea. Yes. Which is fine. That’s just expected, but that’s a safe way to get him on TV. It’s a way to get his name and his and her name and image in the promotion”, Ross said.

The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson is currently signed with the WWE developmental brand NXT going by the name ‘Ava Raine’.

The idea of seeing Dwayne team up with his daughter is surely a fresh one. This could also be a way to get Raine on the main roster and have her compete at the highest level.

If ‘The Great One’ does returns to WWE, we might expect some sort of interaction between him and his daughter.

Will Dwayne Johnson wrestle his cousin at WrestleMania 39?

Despite Jim Ross’ keen suggestion, if The Rock returns at WrestleMania it could be to feud with one of his relatives.

The Rock’s cousin Roman Reigns, is heavily rumored to be his opponent at WrestleMania next year. As WrestleMania Hollywood is scheduled to take place in California, WWE is pushing for a clash between two generational stars.

‘The Tribal Chief’ has been on an unprecedented run as the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship and a match with The Rock at the biggest stage of them all could truly cement his legacy.

A father-daughter duo teaming up could be exciting, but maybe that would have to wait for now.
