The Rock Makes a Shocking Revelation: “I Don’t Really Look Up to Anyone Anymore”

The Rock was the first-ever ‘third generation’ superstar to fight for Vince McMahon’s company. Even before making his debut, wrestling personnel knew that the kid from Hawaii would do wonders.

However, The Rock recently took to his Instagram and revealed which person he looks up to in this day and age. Surely, The Rock has talked about his father Rocky Johnson a lot and gave a heartfelt tribute to his father when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

In his latest Instagram post, The Rock says the only person he trusts and looks up to is “the man in the mirror”.

The Rock looks up to no one

Seeing The Rock grow up as an actor and as a person, we all know that he is a generous man who likes to give. However, in his latest Instagram post, he revealed he looks up to none.

He also confessed that he used to look up to his father, but that relationship got complicated in the end and The Rock then had no one. However, he also confessed that there are people he loves and admires in life, but when it comes to looking up to someone, he trusts no one but himself.

“To be honest, I don’t look up to anyone anymore.
I used to look up to my dad when I was a kid, but our relationship got complicated as I became a man.
Loved him. Just complicated.

Of course, there’s people who I love deeply, respect, admire and adore ~ children, wife, family, a few friends.

But these days I’ve learned the importance of reconciling and being good with the man in the mirror.
The man in the mirror is the one who really knows my shit.
The man in the mirror keeps me accountable.” he wrote.
